Become A Reason For Hope

Make a difference and change lives while building friendships.

We have opportunities to serve in our warehouse every Monday from 9am to 12pm and Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm.

Serving in the warehouse is very important to make this ministry possible! We need all the help we can receive to sort though donations and place everything where it needs to go. Being very organized as a mobile ministry is key to meeting the volume of need, and this can not happen with out volunteers in the warehouse!

The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly. We guarantee you’ll have fun serving along others and see the impact you’re making!

Serving in Warehouse entails :

  • Sorting through all donations
  • Restocking bins
  • Packing and storing items for 2nd warehouse
  • Organizing in both warehouse
  • Sorting and packing items for outreach
  • Unloading and resetting trailer for outreach

Organizations, Schools, Clubs and Church groups are welcome to serve as a group. We request that you submit a request to info@yaioutreach.org. Please include the information for the team lead, name and size of group, and requested date to serve.

NEXT STEPS: Sign-up here to serve at the warehouse Monday from 9am-12pm and/or Thursday from 5pm-8pm – be ready for some fun! If you have any questions, email info@yaioutreach.org.

We meet our friends where they’re at to show them they are loved.

We were created to live in community, and it is through the relationships we build that we tangibly experience the loving characteristics of Christ! Because of this, it’s important for us to regularly host events where you have the opportunity to serve and build relationships with our homeless friends.

The events page on our website and our Facebook page will be regularly updated to reflect our upcoming events. They will also outline how you can get involved. It’s volunteers like you that create the change, so we’d love to have you!

Due to the sensitive nature of visiting encampments and to protect the trust we’ve built, we currently allow only staff to join us on trips to encampments.

NEXT STEPS: Check out our upcoming events here!
